Spencer Hawes (shoulder) is going to try and play in Sunday's Game 7 against the Heat

Hawes (shoulder) is going to try and play in Sunday's Game 7 against the Heat, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Analysis:

Hawes wasn't expected to be available at all during the rest of the first-round series against the Heat, so this news comes as a surprise. He's dealing with a right MCL sprain, but after going through warm-ups Sunday morning, Hawes is feeling good enough to take the court. It remains questionable what kind of minutes Hawes will see in his return, but it wouldn't be surprising if the Hornets decided to limit his playing time a bit. With Hawes back in the lineup, Frank Kaminsky and Marvin Williams could see a slight decrease in minutes.
