Crawford will draw the start at shooting guard in Wednesday's Game 5 matchup with the Trail Blazers.

Analysis:

While Chris Paul (hand) and Blake Griffin (quad) are both expected to miss the remainder of the playoffs, it's somewhat surprising that Crawford will enter the starting lineup as a result, as he was expected to stick in his role as the sixth man. However, coach Doc Rivers appears to have decided to make wholesale changes to the lineup, as Luc Richard Mbah a Moute will head to the bench as Austin Rivers, Crawford, and Paul Pierce enter the mix in what will be a supremely undersized lineup for the Clippers. Crawford, who saw 32 minutes in Game 4 of the series, should see that number climb even higher Wednesday due to the absence of Paul.
