George pleads for more help from Pacers teammates
The Indiana Pacers dropped a pivotal Game 5 on Tuesday, but spare Paul George the blame.
George submitted a Herculean effort, scoring 39 points on just 19 shots while adding eight rebounds and eight assists. And yet the Pacers still lost.
He was understandably disappointed in his teammates after the game.
"I'm not about putting guys down, putting teammates down, but individually everybody has to bring it," a forlorn George told reporters.
The Pacers only gave George seven minutes of rest, and yet that still opened the door for catastrophe. They were outscored by 18 points while George sat, as the Raptors launched two torrid comebacks in his absence.

What George is hoping for is something similar to the Pacers' effort from Game 4. He only had 19 points, but his teammates lifted the team. Ian Mahinmi and George Hill stepped up with 22 points apiece as the Pacers blew out the Raptors 100-83.
