Markieff Morris found consistency in Washington after a tumultuous start to the season in Phoenix.

Morris finished with averages of 12.4 points (on 46.7% shooting from the field), 5.9 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 0.9 steals, and 0.9 three-pointers over 26.4 minutes in 27 appearances (21 starts) with the Wizards after coming over in a trade with the Suns on Feb. 18.

Analysis:

With the exception of assists, all of Morris' averages matched or were better than those he posted with the Suns, as he seemed to find a more welcoming home during his stay with the Wizards. Morris' tenure with the Suns was strained by a tumultuous relationship with management and the coaching staff, but he appeared to find his comfort zone with the Wizards. He'll be an unrestricted free agent this summer, and will likely head into the 2016-17 season with a starting role in hand, as he has three years remaining on his contract.
