If the Los Angeles Lakers want Kevin Ollie to be their next head coach, they better make him a phenomenal offer.

The UConn man told ESPN's Andy Katz he is always willing to listen to offers, but it would take "something very special" to pull him away from the Huskies.

Ollie has been in charge at UConn since 2012 and has developed a reputation for getting his team to play its best when it matters most. The 43-year-old received praise after guiding the Huskies to an NCAA title as a No. 7 seed in 2013-14.

The Lakers could certainly use Ollie's services, as Los Angeles has not seen the playoffs since 2012-13. With the No. 2 pick in this year's draft, the Lakers figure to add another piece alongside Julius Randle and D'Angelo Russell that can help them build for the future.

Ollie isn't the only collegiate coach to be rumored to join the NBA this offseason. Villanova's Jay Wright was linked to the Phoenix Suns earlier this month before they ultimately removed the interim tag from Earl Watson.
