Lowry, DeRozan among least efficient playoff performers

The struggles continue for the Toronto Raptors' All-Star backcourt.

Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan combined for 20 points on 8-of-27 shooting, missed all seven of their 3-point tries, and committed nine turnovers in a deflating Game 4 loss to the Indiana Pacers.

Unfortunately for the Raptors, the struggles of their two best players are becoming the norm. Notably, Lowry and DeRozan rank as two of the worst playoff performers since 1984.

Through four games, Lowry is shooting 32.2 percent from the field and 18.5 percent from deep. DeRozan somehow trails those marks with 29.6 percent from the field while missing all eight of his 3-point tries.

Consequently, the Raptors have been bounced in the playoffs in each of the last two seasons despite holding home-court advantage. The 100-83 loss tied the series 2-2, and if history is any indication, the Raptors could be headed for a third straight humiliation.
