Curry will decline his $1 million player option and become a restricted free agent this offseason, Shams Charania of The Vertical reports.

Analysis:

Curry went undrafted in 2013, but earned himself a role in the Kings' rotation this season, averaging 15.7 minutes per game across 44 appearances, while also shooting 45 percent from three-point range. All nine of Curry's starts came over the Kings' final 11 games of the season, a span in which the 25-year-old averaged 15.2 points and 3.8 assists. On the back of that success, Curry should garner enough interest on the free agent market to improve his salary in the coming campaign, whether he's with the Kings or another team.
