Dwight: People saying Rockets weren't excited about Harden's shot can 'shut up'

Houston Rockets center Dwight Howard was shown, along with several teammates, looking strangely unmoved after James Harden hit a game-winning jumper to beat the Golden State Warriors in Game 3 of their first-round series Thursday night.

The online snark started pouring in soon afterward, with postulations about why the Rockets would look so miserable after such a crucial and exciting play.

General manager Daryl Morey immediately jumped in to try and quell the hubbub.

"Big win to keep series on serve and folks are worried about grading cheer technique and execution when there is still time left on the clock? OK," Morey tweeted.

On Friday, Howard himself was asked about his reaction to the game-winner. He was as indignant as Morey, but only slightly more insightful.

"For all those people saying we weren't happy and excited that James hit the shot, shut up," he told reporters.

"All of us we're happy we won the game," he added, "but we were upset we put ourselves in position that it took a last-second shot."
