Williams (abdomen) is expected to be a game-time decision for Thursday's Game 3 against the Thunder, Tim MacMahon of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

Williams continues to nurse a sports hernia that limited him to 26 minutes in Monday's Game 2 victory. The veteran made the most of his time on the court, however, finishing with 13 points (5-9 FG, 3-5 3Pt) and five assists while battling severe pain. Williams was forced out of the game in the third quarter and sat the entire fourth as the Mavericks held on for the one-point win. If he's cleared to play Thursday, Williams will likely face similar limitations, but he apears poised to again play through discomfort as the series shifts to Dallas. J.J. Barea (groin) is also questionable for the Mavs, so both Devin Harris and Game 2 hero Raymond Felton figure to take on expanded roles if either or both Barea and Williams are limited.
