After a disappointing season wrought with turmoil, at least one member of the Sacramento Kings is getting out while he can.

Power forward Quincy Acy will decline his 2016-17 player option and become an unrestricted free agent this summer, USA Today's Sam Amick reports.

Acy's on a minimum deal, and would've stood to make just over $1 million next season.

The 25-year-old averaged 5.2 points and 3.2 rebounds in 59 game (29 starts) this season for the Kings, his third NBA team since being picked by the Toronto Raptors in the second round of the 2012 draft.

Acy has typically operated as a post player, but has expanded his range out to the 3-point line the last two seasons. This year he hit 19-of-49 threes, for a career-best 38.8-percent mark.
