Two weeks ago, Dorell Wright was hanging out at his house, his season in the Chinese Basketball Association over. Then the Miami Heat came calling, and on Sunday he found himself scoring eight points in four minutes in a Game 1 playoff win over the Charlotte Hornets.

"I have a new nickname for myself," Wright told reporters after Sunday's 123-91 victory. "It's Al Bundy. I'm straight off the couch."

Wright is referring to actor Ed O'Neill's character in the 1980s/'90s sitcom "Married ... With Children," a man who generally didn't want to leave his couch while reminiscing about his long-ago high school football career.

"I've been working though," the 30-year-old, 11-season NBA veteran Wright added.
