Bosh (calf) isn't expected to return during the postseason, Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press reports.

Analysis:

While the Heat haven't issued any sort of formal statement, Bosh addressed the team Friday and strongly intimated that he will not be cleared to return. "He doesn't have ability to be in [the playoffs]," teammate Dwyane Wade told reporters, when asked about Bosh's message to the Heat. Considering Bosh has been out since the All-Star break, the news comes as no surprise, though the Heat were still holding out some hope that Bosh would be cleared at some point. Bosh relayed in March that he's dealing with no active blood clots, but he remains on blood thinners to treat his condition. It looks as though he's targeting a return for the start of the 2016-17 campaign.
