Nowitzki will play Game 3 against Thunder

Dirk Nowitzki will suit up and play Game 3 of the Dallas Mavericks' playoff series against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday. The veteran had been listed as questionable with a bone bruise in his right knee.

It comes as little surprise with the series tied at one game apiece. The 37-year-old Nowitzki scored 18 and 17 points in Games 1 and 2, respectively.

The Mavericks also get back point guard J.J. Barea and big man David Lee for the game.
