Ajinca was questionable coming into the day, and with the Pelicans eliminated from playoff contention, there was really no reason to rush the 7-2 big man into action for Wednesday's matchup in Minnesota. The 27 year-old center will finish the season with a line of 6.0 points and 4.6 rebounds per game, but the stats don't show how good of a job he did producing during this past month, during which practically the entire Pelicans team has been ravaged by injuries. Expect Omer Asik and Kendrick Perkins to pick up minutes in Ajinca's absence.
