Gordon (concussion) is awaiting final clearance from the league in hopes of playing in Wednesday's regular season finale against the Hornets, Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel reports.

Analysis:

Gordon has been held out of the team's last three games since sustaining the concussion against the Pistons back on April 6. He's passed through all phases of the NBA's concussion protocol, but he still needs to undergo one final consultation, which is expected to happen Wednesday afternoon. If Gordon is given the green light, expect to see him back in the starting lineup against the Hornets, sending Ersan Ilyasova back to a reserve role.
