Jordan will be held out of Wednesday's regular-season finale against the Suns for rest purposes, Ben Bolch of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Analysis:

Jordan fell a little shy of claiming his 50th double-double of the season in Tuesday's 110-84 win over the Grizzlies, delivering seven points (3-4 FG, 1-2 FT), 12 rebounds, two blocks, one assist, and one steal over 28 minutes. The blowout nature of the game prompted coach Doc Rivers to rest most of his starters for the second half, and he'll give four-fifths of his top unit an even more extended break in the second half of the back-to-back set Wednesday, as Jordan, Chris Paul, J.J. Redick, and Blake Griffin will all get the night off. In addition, sixth man Jamal Crawford will stay back in Los Angeles to rest, leaving the Clippers with just 10 active players for the contest. Look for Cole Aldrich to make the start at center and receive heavy minutes, but Jordan will reclaim his regular role once the playoffs begin over the weekend.
