Carmelo Anthony ruled out of Knicks' season finale vs. Pacers

New York Knicks All-Star Carmelo Anthony will not compete in his team's final game of the 2015-16 regular season Tuesday night against the Indiana Pacers.

Cleanthony Early got the start in his place.

Anthony's season will end with averages of 21.8 points on 43.4 percent shooting, 7.7 rebounds, and 4.2 assists, with a player efficiency rating of 20.3 in 72 appearances.

The Knicks possess a 32-49 record heading into their finale against Indiana, which will keep them out of the playoffs for a third year in a row.

Rookie Kristaps Porzingis has also been ruled out for a seventh consecutive outing.
