Robinson (knee) has been ruled out for Wednesday's season finale against the Raptors, Mike Mazzeo of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

Robinson will close out the season with back-to-back absences due to a sore right knee, ending a brief run of excellence in the frontcourt. Over his final five games prior to suffering the injury in Sunday's game against the Pacers, Robinson recorded double-doubles in each contest, averaging 15.3 points, 13 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1.3 steals while shooting 52.6 percent from the field. The former No. 5 overall pick surely benefited from Brook Lopez (rest) and Thaddeus Young (rest) sitting out most of those contests, but his performance down the stretch could lock him into a key reserve role for the Nets heading into 2016-17. Henry Sims figures to make another start in Robinson's place during the season finale.
