Raptors' Ross good to go for Game 3 after clearing concussion protocol

Terrence Ross will be available for the Toronto Raptors in Thursday's Game 3 against the Indiana Pacers after going through tests in accordance with the NBA's concussion protocol.

Ross banged heads with teammate DeMar DeRozan during an inbounds play in the second quarter of Game 2. After complaining of a headache, he was held out of the second half for precautionary reasons, and had been listed as questionable in the lead-up to Thursday's game. But after showing no concussion symptoms in the past two days, Ross was given the go-ahead to suit up.

The fourth-year swingman has struggled through the first two games of the series (as he did in the last two postseasons), shooting just 4-of-12 from the field, averaging 5.5 points, and looking lost or out of sync on multiple possessions. In 13 career playoff games, he now has a 3.8 PER.

He had, however, started to find a bit of a groove before suffering the injury, knocking down consecutive 3-pointers in the second quarter of the Raptors' Game 2 win.
