Pau Gasol will not play in either of the Bulls' remaining games, KC Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Gasol will be held out of the Bulls' final two games due to discomfort in his right knee, K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Analysis:

The 35-year-old had been playing through the knee issue for the last month, and he'll undergo an MRI this week to determine what type of rehab he'll require. With the Bulls officially eliminated from postseason contention Sunday, there's no need for Gasol to play through the soreness, and the likes of Cristiano Felicio and Bobby Portis figure to absorb the bulk of his minutes in matchups Monday with the Pelicans and Wednesday with the 76ers.
