Darrell Arthur (knee) excused from practice Thursday, not likely to play against Spurs on Friday, Chris Dempsey of The Denver Post reports.

Arthur (knee) missed Thursday's practice to tend to a family matter and isn't likely to play Friday against Spurs, Chris Dempsey of The Denver Post reports.

Analysis:

In addition to being away from the team, Arthur is also dealing with a sore left knee, which may have prevented him from suiting up Friday even if he had attended practice Thursday. Barring an unforeseen turnaround with the injury and a resolution of the personal matter, Arthur looks on track to miss his third consecutive game. His absence will create more opportunities for Joffrey Lauvergne and Jusuf Nurkic to get on the court.
