Perkins: Durant made me sign 'confidentiality form' after free agency chat

Kendrick Perkins is either the first in a new twist on the cold reality of business, or he just has a really good poker face.

The veteran New Orleans Pelicans center told reporters Wednesday he's spoken with friend and former teammate Kevin Durant about the Oklahoma City Thunder superstar's plans as an unrestricted free agent this summer.

"He did shoot some teams out there that he made me sign a confidentiality form that I couldn't tell nobody," Perkins said. "He's got a few teams that he will be looking at."

He was then further pressed about what he claimed to know.

"You’re trying to get me to really answer the question," Perkins said. "I can’t answer that. I want to, but I can't. I mean, I don’t know. I do know, but I don’t know."

While the legal document line was likely a joke, the 2016 Internet did it's thing, raising all sorts of fun questions.

Perkins, who played with Durant in OKC from 2011-2015 and said he still talks to his friend once a week, did go on to say that if the Thunder don't break through this year, it might be easier for Durant to walk away.

"They win it all, he can't leave in my opinion," Perkins said, according to MassLive's Jay King. "But if they don't, it might be time for a change. But you never know."
