Johnson is dealing with plantar fasciitis in both feet and is uncertain to be available for Friday's game against the Jazz, Rowan Kavner of Clippers.com reports.

Analysis:

It was believed that Johnson sat out Wednesday's game against the Lakers simply for rest reasons, but he's apparently dealing with a legitimate injury that may sideline him for a second straight contest. The foot issues aren't foreign to Johnson, who had dealt with pain in both feet at various points earlier this season and is now experiencing pain when he jumps and runs. Coach Doc Rivers said he was hoping to rest a number of starters Friday, but that may not be a feasible plan if Johnson and Austin Rivers, who is dealing with an ankle issue, are unavailable to absorb some of the open minutes. More information on the severity of Johnson's injury and his availability against the Jazz should be known after Friday's morning shootaround.
