Johnson will be rested and won't play in Wednesday's matchup with the Lakers, Kristina Pink of FOX Sports reports.

Analysis:

The Clippers can afford to rest players down the stretch now that they have their playoff position locked up, and Johnson, Austin Rivers, and Jamal Crawford will all be in line for a breather for the second half of a back-to-back set. In Johnson's absence, more minutes at small forward should be available for the likes of Jeff Green, Paul Pierce, and Luc Richard Mbah a Moute. Look for Johnson to return to action Friday against the Jazz.
