Bucks' Antetokounmpo hoping for summer workout with LeBron

Their skill sets are similar and they're both under contract with Nike: Those commonalities have Milwaukee Bucks jack-of-all-trades Giannis Antetokounmpo looking to pick LeBron James' brain this summer.

"One summer working out with LeBron, you can learn a lot," Antetokounmpo said Tuesday, according to Cleveland.com's Chris Haynes. He added, "It's not up to me. It's up to LeBron. I think LeBron has 150 times more things to do than me over the summer. If he has time, I'll definitely have the time."

James promptly said he'd try to make it happen.

"Absolutely," James said. "Y'all know I got an open-door policy."

The Bucks' fall from playoff contention this season has effectively given Antetokounmpo the keys to the proverbial Ferrari. The 21-year-old is hitting career highs across the board, and since the beginning of March, he's averaging almost a triple-double at 21.6 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 8.3 assists per game.

Head coach Jason Kidd's installation of the prodigy at point forward has been the catalyst for the performance, and Kidd plans for the 6-foot-11 Antetokounmpo to start next season running the point as well. It's not unlike the situation James dealt with his first few seasons in the NBA, when he played shooting guard, small forward, and point guard for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Later, with the Miami Heat, James also played power forward.

Like LeBron, the "Greek Freak" possesses the versatility to effectively play four - if not all five - positions on the floor, a combination of tools that doesn't come around very often. Prior to James, the last player to do it at an elite level was Magic Johnson.

"LeBron is one of the best players in the world," Antetokounmpo said. "He's a player that can do everything on the court and that's what I'm trying to do also."
