VIDEO: Duke bench explodes after Marshall Plumlee sinks 1st career triple

by Nov 16, 5:20 PM

Duke center Marshall Plumlee is finally getting minutes this season after playing less than seven per contest in his freshman and sophomore seasons.

Much of Plumlee's utility comes from his size and defensive ability. The 7-foot center is averaging 6.5 points and four rebounds per game this season and his impact defensively has endeared him to head coach Mike Krzyzewski this season.

3-point shooting, however, is not something Plumlee usually displays. In fact, the play below was both the first attempt and first make of Plumlee's collegiate career. His teammates on the bench react accordingly.
