Rangers' Robertson passes concussion test, diagnosed with non-displaced facial fractures

Texas Rangers center fielder Daniel Robertson passed a concussion test after colliding with Alex Rios' knee in the third inning of Thursday's game against the Tigers, according to Richard Durrett of ESPNDallas.com.

Robertson, who walked off the field with the help of medical personnel, is experiencing bruising and swelling and got some bad news after a hospital visit.

Texas Rangers center fielder Daniel Robertson was lifted from Thursday's series opener with the Detroit Tigers after sustaining an apparent head injury during a scary collision with right fielder Alex Rios.

Robertson, who made just his fourth start of the season Thursday, writhed upon the outfield grass as medical personnel attended to him. The 28-year-old was eventually replaced by Leonys Martin.
