Report: Kings ship Robinson to Rockets

The Sacramento Kings have traded Thomas robinson, the 5th overall pick in the 2012 draft, to the Houston Rockets according to a report from Yahoo! sports. In a 7-player deal, Houston will acquire Robinson, Francisco Garcia, Tyler Honeycutt and a 2nd-round pick. The Kings will receive Patrick Patterson, Cole Aldrich and Toney douglas in return.

The Kings had a surplus at power forward with Jason Thompson receiving the bulk of the minutes.

In this his rookie season, robinson has averaged 4.8 ppg and 4.7 rpg.
