Report: Garnett will not waive no-trade clause
UPDATE: According to a report by Jeff Zillgitt of the USA Today, Kevin Garnett will not waive his no-trade clause before Thursday's deadline.
According to Yahoo Sports, the Los Angeles Clippers and Boston Celtics have been discussing a trade of star players that would see Kevin Garnett move to LA in exchange for Eric Bledsoe and DeAndre Jordan.
The Celtics are in need of a new starting guard, after losing All-Star point guard Rajon Rondo to an ACL injury. Bledsoe is 23, and Jordan is 24, and could be used as building blocks for the future, while the Clippers addition of Garnett would signal a move to 'win now' mode with their core built around Blake Griffin and Chris Paul.
More on this as it develops.
