NBA announces All Star starters

The NBA announced its 2013 All Star starters on Thursday evening, as voted by fans around the world.

Rajon Rondo, Dwyane Wade, Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James and Kevin Garnett were voted to start for the Eastern Conference, while out West, Chris Paul, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, Blake Griffin and Dwight Howard make up the Conference's starting five.

There was a slight change to the voting process this season, as instead of fans voting for two guards, two forwards and a centre, they simply voted for two guards and three "frontcourt" players. The rest of the All Star rosters will be decided by the coaches and will be announced at a later date.

The 2013 All Star game will take place on Sunday, February 17 in Houston.
