Mo Williams out six weeks

Utah Jazz guard Mo Williams has undergone successful surgery on his shooting thumb and will be out for up to six weeks. According to the Salt Lake Tribune, Williams will be limited to weightlifting and conditioning over the coming weeks and then his status will be evaluated.

Williams has started all 24 games for the Jazz this year, averaging 12.9 points, 6.7 assists, and 2.0 rebounds per game while averaging 31.4 minutes.
