Knicks' Carmelo Anthony day-to-day

New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony is considered day-to-day after leaving the game Thursday night against the Los Angeles Lakers with a sprained ankle.

Anthony was hurt after landing awkwardly after being fouled by Lakers centre Dwight Howard.

Coach Mike Woodson said after the game that Anthony is day to day.

"We've just got to take it day by day and see what happens," Woodson said. "He went down kind of hard."
