NBA investigating altercation between Perkins and Randolph

The NBA is investigating an altercation between the Memphis Grizzlies' Zach Randloph and the Oklahoma City Thunder's Kendrick Perkins that took place on Wednesday night. According to a tweet from Oklahoma City beat writer Darnell Mayberry, the two players got into a fight outside the teams' locker rooms which led to a police investigation. However, Mayberry later tweeted that police denied any altercation took place and that there was no investigation. Nonetheless, the NBA is now conducting an investigation of their own to determine what, if anything, took place between the players.

Both players were ejected in the fourth quarter of Wednesday's game for confronting each other after a missed free throw. The Grizzlies beat the Thunder 107-97.
