Rondo out with sprained ankle
The Boston Celtics will be without Rajon Rondo for tonight's game against the Brooklyn Nets after the guard suffered a sprained ankle in the third quarter of the Celtics win against the Utah Jazz Wednesday.
Head coach Doc Rivers had this to say regarding the injury:
"“I have no idea. With sprained ankles, tomorrow you’ll know more. He’s not going to play all 82, I doubt. It’d be nice. You know, how I think, guys, the next guy, just somebody has to step up and we have to figure it out."
On the season, Rondo has averaged 14.3 points per game and a league leading 12.5 assists per game.
