Report: Rasheed Wallace to join Knicks

Rasheed Wallace is reportedly coming out of retirement to join the New York Knicks, according to ESPN.

Citing a league source, the report states that Wallace has not signed a contract yet, but that he has already completed a physical with the team, has been working out at the Knicks' facility and will join the Knicks at training camp this week.

In 15 NBA seasons between the Trail Blazers, Pistons, Hawks and Celtics, Wallace posted career averages of 14.6 points, 6.7 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.3 blocks and 1.0 steals per game, winning a championship with Detroit in 2004.

If Wallace does eventually sign a contract with New York, it is expected to be a one-year deal for the veteran's minimum of $1.7 million.
