Report: Suns sign Jermaine O'Neal
According to a tweet from ESPN's Chris Palmer, the Phoenix Suns and center Jermaine O'Neal have agreed to a one year deal worth $1.35 million.
O'Neal spent the last two seasons with the Boston Celtics where he struggled to remain healthy, playing only 49 games over the span of his time with the Celtics. Once a premier player in the league, O'Neal has struggled since leaving Indiana for Toronto in 2008.
Last season with the Celtics, O'Neal averaged 5 points per game, 5.4 rebounds per game and 1.7 blocks in 25 games in a lockout-shortened season.
