Jenkins finished the five-game NBA Summer League schedule averaging 15.6 points per game.
Analysis: Jenkins was able to give further proof that he can score points. He shot 50 per cent from the field and 44 per cent from beyond the arc. He had a 21-point game in a win over Dallas. The encouraging sign is the high shooting percentage. Jenkins minutes as a rookie will depend on his shooting accuracy and his defensive capabilies. So far his shooting is as good as projected out of Vanderbilt. Jenkins will certainly be one to watch in training camp in October.
