Reports: Howard rejects Magic again
Dwight Howard and Magic general manager Rob Hennigan reportedly met in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
The meeting was expected to be a last ditch effort by Hennigan and the Magic to sell Howard on a long term commitment with Orlando, but the All Star centre only reiterated his desire to be traded and confirmed that he will not be signing any extension with the Magic, who have yet to find a suitable trade package for Howard.
Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reported on twitter that if Howard makes it through the 2012-2013 season without being traded to the Nets or Lakers, the Mavericks would then emerge as the "overwhelming favorite" to sign the big man as an unrestricted free agent.
