Report: Suns interested in signing Ray Allen

The Phoenix Suns have emerged as yet another team interested in signing free agent shooting guard Ray Allen, according to Yahoo! Sports.

The Miami Heat and New York Knicks have also made overtures in acquiring the 37-year-old this summer, however it is thought that Phoenix has an edge due to their abundance of salary cap space compared to the other teams in the mix.

Last season, Allen recorded 14.2 points per game; his lowest total since his rookie season, however he managed to shoot a career-best 45.3% beyond the 3-point line.
