Report: T-Wolves to offer contract to Brandon Roy

According to 1500 ESPN Twin Cities, the Minnesota Timberwolves are set to offer free agent guard Brandon Roy a contract.

According to Yahoo! Sports, other suitors for Roy include the Mavs, Bulls and Pacers.

Roy did not play in the 2011-12 season after being hindered by a cartilage condition in both of his knees.

The 27-year old guard was originally drafted by the Timberwolves in 2006 before being dealt to the Portland Trailblazers during the draft. He played his entire 5-year career with Portland.

Roy, a two-time all-star, has averaged 19.0 points per game, 4.7 assists per game, and 4.4 rebounds per game in his career.
