Nate Robinson News

Robinson (hamstring) averaged 11.2 points and 4.5 assists in 23.4 minutes per game in 51 games with the Warriors in 2011-12.

Analysis: Stephen Curry's precarious ankle and the Monta Ellis trade conspired to make Robinson a nice play for stretches of the second half of the season. A hamstring injury eventually cost him the starting point guard spot, but he never stopped shooting when he was moved to the bench. The 2011-12 Warriors afforded him the opportunity to get plenty of shots, but he may not be so lucky next season, wherever he signs. The Warriors will probably sign a veteran point guard in the offseason, but Robinson's not the point guard they envision as a backup to Curry.
