Report: Odom smoked cocaine before games
UPDATE 2: Radar Online has released a report stating that Lamar Odom smoked more than $50,000 worth of cocaine in the past three years.
The report, based off an interview with a man who claimed to be Odom's drug dealer, also mentioned a wild binge before an NBA game only six months ago. Previous reports had indicated that Odom remained clean throughout the 2012-13 NBA season.
According to Odom's alleged drug dealer, who also provided photographic evidence to Radar Online, the binge took place before the Clippers 14-point win over the Knicks on Feb. 10. Odom played 22 minutes posting two points, seven rebounds, and five assists. However, he claimed that he's witnessed Odom get "high" on as many as 10 occasions since 2010.
"He likes to party," the alleged drug dealer told Radar Online. "He's a pretty nice guy to be honest with you, but he's becoming ... his problem seems to be becoming a bigger problem.
"In my experience, he literally likes cocaine - he is a cocaine guy. He likes to smoke it. I know it for a fact because I sold him the stuff and saw him smoke it. He spent about 16 grand [in one sitting]."
UPDATE: A report from PEOPLE is claiming that free agent Lamar Odom has checked out of a rehab center after being there for only one day.
According to the report, Odom checked into a drug and alcohol center on Wednesday morning but left Thursday afternoon with an assistant. He was later spotted in Los Angeles.
The update follows conflicting reports about whether or not Odom actually was in rehab.
There are conflicting reports about whether Lamar Odom is in rehab. The NBA free agent might not be getting help after all, at least according to TMZ. Their sources refuted Wednesday's PEOPLE magazine article that said he was getting help for drug and alcohol abuse.
"We've been making calls for the last day and just got what we're told is the definitive word ... he's not there," the gossip website reported on Thursday.
