Dominique Steele kicked off the UFC Fight Night 79 prelims in style.

After dominating "Maestro" Dong Hyun Kim through much of the opening 10 minutes, Steele earned his unwieldy nickname "Non-Stop Action Packed" with an earth-shattering knockout slam in the opening moments of the third stanza.

"I really got into fighting because of Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson," Steele told reporters following the bout, explaining his knockout slam. "I know he used to do that to everyone. Him and Kevin Randleman, two big slammin' guys I used to love watching."

Steele also explained his goal entering the fight.

"The game plan was to put him on his back," he said. "And ... mission accomplished."
