Alberto Mina and Yoshihiro Akiyama treated the South Korean faithful to a slobberknocker.

The men traded violent, often sloppy flurries for 15 grueling minutes, with Mina ultimately emerging from the fracas a with a split-decision victory much to the chagrin of the pro-"Sexyama" crowd.

After a relatively even opening stanza rife with leg kicks, Mina nearly finished Akiyama in the waning seconds of the middle frame, sending the adopted Korean careening to the canvas with a massive uppercut before swarming with a barrage of punches until Akiyama was saved by the bell.

With Mina's gas tank depleted and his lead leg reduced to hamburger after absorbing a steady diet of vicious leg kicks, Akiyama completely took over in the third, battering "The Soldier of God" for almost the entire five minutes.

In the end, Mina is leaving South Korea with his win money and a horrifically swollen and discolored left leg.
