Benson Henderson: 'I definitely feel' Ronda Rousey's pain

Like Ronda Rousey, Benson Henderson knows the pain of having UFC gold violently ripped from his grasp.

Henderson, who lost his lightweight title to former WEC nemesis Anthony Pettis at UFC 164 in 2013, has since moved up to welterweight, but that doesn't erase the pain he felt when he could no longer wrap the 155-pound strap around his waist.

"There's not many guys who know what it feels like to lose a UFC belt," Henderson told MMA Digest, according to BloodyElbow.com's Lewis Mckeever. "I am one of the few guys - it sucks. So I definitely feel (Rousey's) pain and I have no doubts that she will bounce back and prove her greatness."

One fighter Henderson doesn't think is going to suffer through separation anxiety with his title any time soon is longtime UFC featherweight overlord Jose Aldo. Henderson doesn't like Conor McGregor's chances against Aldo at UFC 194, insisting "Scarface" won't lose his title in the next five years.

"I think the only way anybody at 145 is gonna beat Jose Aldo in the next 5 years, is if they catch him while he's sleeping in bed," Henderson said. "So I gotta go with Jose Aldo. Conor's tough, you know, he does a good job, and he brings a lot of hype behind him, but I gotta go with Jose Aldo."

"Bendo" makes his next trip to the Octagon against fellow former lightweight Jorge Masvidal in the main event of Saturday night's UFC Fight Night 79.
