Alexis Davis announces pregnancy, hopes to return in late 2016

Alexis Davis doesn't think she'll set foot inside the Octagon until late 2016, but she's delighted by the reason.

Big news to announce today a slight delay in my return to the octagon! I planned on spending as much time back home as possible to help with my niece anyways. But we are over joyed by this news and should be expecting our new arrival early 2016!! And planned to back in the Octagon by the end of the year!

The No. 3 ranked fighter in the women's bantamweight division, Davis is 4-1 since joining the UFC in 2013, racking up victories over Rosi Sexton, Liz Carmouche, Jessica Eye, and Sarah Kaufman. Her lone loss came to division overlord Ronda Rousey at UFC 175 in July last year.
