Retired mixed martial artist and former UFC fighter Jason Miller was involved in a nonviolent standoff with police in California and taken into custody Thursday, according to Brett Okamoto of ESPN.

Police officers attempted to serve Miller with a warrant for his arrest on felony charges of domestic violence, criminal contempt and stalking. He responded by barricading himself into his home and not allowing the police to enter.

Miller actually took to Twitter during the confrontation to report on the events.

The Orange County Sheriff's Department later tweeted that the suspect, Miller, had been taken into custody just after 5 p.m.

Miller last fought in May 2012, when he lost to C.B. Dollaway. The 33-year-old had a career record of 28-9 with one no contest during his 14-year career.
