UFC 214 moved from Aug. 5 to July 29

The UFC made a minor change to its upcoming schedule Friday, shifting UFC 214 in Anaheim from Aug. 5 to July 29.

UFC 214 was originally booked as UFC 208 and it was supposed to take place on Jan. 21 at the Honda Center. Though the venue was unchanged, a lack of fights prompted the promotion to push what would have been its first PPV of the year back to a summer date.

Instead, UFC 208 took place in Brooklyn on Feb. 11.

No reason was given for the latest change.
