Veteran UFC fighter Ed Herman has pulled out of his bout against Gadzhimurad Antigulov at UFC 209 in Las Vegas, the light heavyweight tweeted on Monday.

According to Herman, this is the first withdrawal in his decade-long career with the UFC. He has a 10-8 record (with one no-contest) inside the Octagon and has gone 1-1 since making the move to 205 pounds last January.

"Short Fuse" was originally scheduled to face Igor Pokrajac, but an injury to the Croatian forced the UFC to replace him with Antigulov. There is no word yet on whether a replacement is being sought for Herman to keep Antigulov on the card.

As it stands, UFC 209 is set to take place on March 4 with 10 confirmed bouts. Welterweight champion Tyron Woodley defends his title in a rematch against Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson in the main event, while the co-main sees lightweights Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson battle for an interim title.
