Paul Daley may have locked up the 2017 knockout of the year already.
Expectations were high for Daley and fellow brawler Brennan Ward in the co-main event of Bellator 170 on Saturday in Inglewood, Calif. and the action did not disappoint. After a couple of minutes of back-and-forth action, Daley unloaded on Ward with a flying knee that instantly separated Ward from his senses.
"Semtex" improved to 5-1 in the Bellator cage with all but one of those wins coming by way of knockout.
Post-fight, Daley warned recent Bellator signee Rory MacDonald that he would be his next KO victim if they get into the cage together.
